Abstract :
For original paper see ibid., vol.37, p.598-605 (Mar.1989). It is pointed out that the characteristic impedance of transmission lines cannot be determined using the technique proposed in the paper by A. Enders. In reply, the author agrees with some of the commenters´ points but disputes their contention that the technique cannot be used to determine material parameters.<>
