Abstract :
The construction of a small bipolar electrode for electromyography is described. Simple design and rugged construction enable universal application. A microwelding power supply is described which is used for joining both the preformed stainless steel electrode pins and the conducting wires. The complete galvanic process for surface coating is reported. Electrical data and representative electromyographical recordings illustrate performance of the electrode.
