Abstract :
A wide ranging computer applications project has been underway since 1980 in the Reprocessing Engineering Division of British Nuclear Fuels. The scope of the project is indicated briefly, and some managerial implications of absorbing rapid system change are considered in order to provide a basis for discussion of possible future developments affecting professional careers in computing and management.
