Abstract :
The theory of chaotic behaviour of dynamical systems has been used to investigate the basic features of interaction in fast-wave devices such as gyrotrons. A simple model of the interaction process seems to indicate that gyrotrons readily resist the onset of chaotic behaviour even at large amplitudes of oscillations
