Abstract :
This paper presents details of a postprocessor system designed to improve the graphical presentation of the results of finite-element stress analysis. The CSIG graphics postprocessor accesses the results of finite-element analysis and data from the finite-element model, and uses a modified Wornock hidden-surface removal algorithm for the display of colour stress images of two- and three-dimensional structures.
