Abstract
Doppler estimation accuracy for current profiling is discussed, with comparison with the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB). The apparent decrease in estimation accuracy at low SNR is introduced by the estimate equivocation, due to noise structure and not accounted by the CRB. The actual error is assessed by analysis and simulations
