Abstract :
Today´s large corporate dinosaurs find themselves in a new age, an information age-an era which has evolved from an agricultural and then an industrial society spanning two centuries in the developed countries. Last year, over half of the 50 largest global companies suffered a downturn in revenues, some losing considerable sums of money. Here, the author examines whether they have ignored the changes and the dangers that this new era has brought about and whether they too, like the dinosaur, will become extinct.<>
