  • Abstract
    The authors propose a look-up table fuzzy clustering algorithm using a membership function with adaptive fuzziness. The use of the look-up-table method avoids bulky exponential data calculation in the FCM algorithm. The use of the adaptive fuzzy clustering algorithm also largely improves the codebook quality in image processing by reducing the mean square error (MSE) of 26.18%, and 8.67% shown in recent LEG and FCM algorithms, respectively
