Abstract :
A new method to generate a diffraction-compensated beam at the output of a single-mode pigtailed laser diode is presented. It consists of positioning an opaque disk and a collimating lens at the output of the fiber. We could generate some beams of 900 m of diameter which conserves its dimension over more than 4 m.
