Abstract :
An explicit formula is derived for harmonic distortion as a function of the capacitance nonlinearities and of the transfer function of the same filter implemented with linear capacitors. Application of the proposed formula to SC filters with capacitors implemented by MOSFET gates shows that harmonic distortions as low as -40 to -60 dB can be obtained
