Abstract :
We presented a novel Self-Locking Optoelectronic Tweezers (SLOT) for micro-particle manipulation. DEP force generated from ring-shape electrodes is utilized for micro-particle self-locking followed by selectively single particle releasing with lateral phototransistor-based optoelectronic tweezers. Single particle locking and releasing function were demonstrated.
