Abstract :
Bicoherence is a quantity used to estimate the contribution of second-order nonlinearity to the power in bifrequencies. The conventional approach to the problem uses second- and third-order periodograms for bicoherence estimation. Time-domain approaches that use autocorrelation and third-order cumulant samples or their estimates are developed. These techniques are suitable for use in situations where high-resolution approaches are required for power spectrum and bispectrum estimation
