Abstract :
The article presents the revised strategic nanotechnology program of the US National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI). The development of the nanotechnology research infrastructure via the new plans contained in the NNI is found to be very promising. Comprehensive R&D programs are created to provide the US a competitive edge.
