Abstract
The confinement, the stability conditions, and the main characteristics of the detected Mirnov oscillations in the small tokamak TBR-1 are presented. The discharges investigated can be characterized, in terms of MHD activity, in two distinct regimes as the safety factor at the limiter ql is changed from 4 to 7.
