  • Abstract
    In photovoltaic industry, two critical way to reduce cost is to reduce material consumption and improve efficiency. In this work, we applied rear passivation (PERC) structure on conventionally industrial P-type screen printed solar cell for high efficiency purpose. And an average efficiency of 19.5% is achieved on 6 inch (156mm × 156mm) Cz mono-crystalline wafers. Due to the excellent rear side passivation, the Voc reaches 646mV and Jsc is 38.5mA/cm2, leading to about 1% absolute efficiency gain over the conventional cell. All processes are developed on high throughput machines, which show a potential for future production.
