Abstract :
The tragic courses and consequences of World Wars I and II and the natural dread of the still more devastating results of a possible World War III, have prompted the following constructive guest editorial from the chief consulting engineer of the Hazeltine Electronics Corporation, who is as well a member of the IRE Board of Editors. It is commnended to the thoughtful attention of forward-looking engineers.
