Abstract
Under the linear phase constraint which holds for most cases, by using a special relationship between the real and the imaginary parts of the weight vector, complex-real versions of the complex steered algorithm have been derived. Important advantages over conventional complex algorithms are that the number of samples for convergence and the convergence period are halved, and the computation is cut down by 50% or even 75%, with no loss in performance
