Abstract :
The author presents a new derivation of a closed-form expression for the Chebyshev polynomial Cn( omega ) based on the method of the Z-transform. The result permits the rapid determination of Cn( omega ) for any order n without the need to evaluate Cn( omega ) for all lower values of n.
