Active RC filters derivable from LC ladder filters via linear transformations

This paper contains a new approach to the design of active RC filters that simulate lossless ladder doubly terminated filters. The method relies on linear transformations of port variables, and it is shown that the wave-active-filter procedure proposed elsewhere is a special case of the present method. Another particular choice of the transformations is proposed in this paper and employed in a specific example. The results are very encouraging.
