Abstract :
A low-cost TTL counter with a selectable time gate is described. A manual or an external trigger initiates the time-gated counting cycle. Included in the circuitry is a variable trigger delay and a test circuit that allows display of the clock signal. The counter has applications in neurophysiology including counting units for a predetermined time interval.
