Abstract :
A brief outline is given of the multiple multipole (MMP) method, stressing those points that are necessary for the understanding of the problems connected to the implementation. It is shown how the MMP method works on different hardware and why it is a convenient method to be implemented on small computers such as PCs. A few applications give an idea of the possibilities of this method
