Abstract :
A parallel implementation of the method of moments on the Connection Machine is examined. The triangular surface patch technique is applied to perfect conductors using the electric field integral equation and to homogeneous dielectric bodies using the combined field integral equation. The short run time of a moment-method algorithm on a parallel processor decreases the execution time by a significant amount for very large problems, since the algorithm order is approximately N. These gains can become extremely large as the problem size becomes very large
