Abstract :
As a followup on the recent reports of perturbations of microwave exposure fields by dielectric animal holders, a theoretical study to determine the resultant changes in the energy absorption of the animals is reported. It is concluded that the changes in energy absorbed by the animals are small compared to the large perturbations of the exposure fields due to the holders.
