Abstract :
We demonstrate a novel tapped delay-line fiber-optic microwave filter composed of four-mode dispersion compensation fiber (DCF) and a light source. The optical delay line is realized by the DCF guided modes having different velocities. The free-spectral range of the filter can be controlled by tuning the incident light wavelength.
