Abstract :
In this work we investigate the deployment of wireless nodes in order to maximize the lifetime of a data flow. We develop a mathematical model for determining the best placement of nodes by taking into consideration the energy of each node involved in the data flow. By using our mathematical model we achieve two major objectives: the maximization of the shortest node´s lifetime and the convergence of all the nodes´ lifetime to a unique value.
