Abstract
This communication is a critique of the above paper1 by Hart and Manno. The interpretation of their calculated Poynting vector as energy flux is disputed. ITe conclusion presented in their paper, based upon a comparison of their calculated Poynting vector induced by transmission line fields to microwave exposure standards, is examined.
