Abstract :
The increasing interest in pill-box-cavity interdigital magnetrons has led to the desirability of a set of design equations by which the resonant wavelengths and external Q´s for the various modes of these magnetrons may be calculated. This paper presents these equations and their derivations, and shows how the results check the experimental observations.
