Abstract :
A discrete time queuing system with fixed service time and periodic arrivals is studied. The queue length distribution is derived and some interesting properties of the queuing process are presented. The paper contributes to the modelling of the asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) used in integrated broadband communication networks (IBCNs).<>
