Abstract :
Part of the Stockholm gigabit network is characterized by 10 Gb/s experiments. Field trial results like bit-error-rate, stimulated Brillouin scattering, and self-phase modulation are compared with corresponding experiments on spooled fiber in the laboratory and with theoretical results.<>
