Abstract :
An analysis is made of the time response of a simple shunt resonant circuit and the results applied to the behavior of the Round-Travis and Foster-Seeley frequency discriminators. The relationship between the parameters of the circuit are derived such that the discriminator will have only one crossover frequency in the desired frequency band for the application of pulsed signals.
