Abstract
To reduce global warming, many universities use electric vehicles to offer public transportation in their campus. However, the use of private vehicles still has a high percentage because the passengers do not know how long to wait for the bus. To increase the use of mass transit in our campus, we develop a prototype of an information system on the electric vehicle location called NU-EV Tracking and Monitoring System. In order to deploy the system, we analyze the system security and found some possible attacks. Then, we propose the improved version of protocols by using the cryptographic function that suitable for the embedded system equipment and real-time application.
