Abstract :
A study is made of the bounded-input bounded-output stability of n-D linear shift-invariant digital filters. The authors consider a class of quarter-plane causal filters which have their region of support only in the first quadrant. An n-D filter of this class is characterized by its n-D z-transform real rational transfer function. The results are illustrated by two examples
