Abstract :
For original paper see E. Ngoya et al., ibid., vol.37, no.11, pp.1339-55 (1990). For comment see X. Zhang, ibid., vol.42, pp.408-9 (1995). The comment by X. Zhang is right. The data from their work have effectively been mistaken in the comparisons performed in our paper, where it was taken as cond(A*TA) instead of cond(A). To restore, however, a meaningful comparison, the data of the LSQO method should be reduced by a factor M+1, not 2M+1 as indicated in the comments by Zhang, where M is the number of positive frequency components
