Abstract
Global optimization seeks to find the best solution to a constrained nonlinear optimization problem by performing a complete search over a set of feasible solutions. The global optimization toolbox for Maple provides a widely applicable, fully integrated development environment that can support control engineering applications and help realize the significant potential that global optimization has a valuable tool in control system design
