Summary form only given, as follows. The author of the paper, "The transmission and reception of elliptically polarized waves," which appeared on pages 148-151 of the February, 1950, issue of this publication has brought the following error to the attention of the editors. On page 149, the vector N in equations (2) and (3) should read N_t, where N_t is the component of N transverse to the direction of propagation.
