Abstract :
This paper describes a realistic model for amount-of-substance gaseous primary standards based on absorption spectroscopy. On the basis of the results obtained using a frequency-referenced CO2 laser to probe SF6 in nitrogen in the molar fraction range of 10-4 mol/mol, an evaluation of the main systematic effects is presented and discussed
