Abstract :
The establishment at the University of Exeter of a CAE programme for undergraduate students of engineering is outlined. VLSI design skills are a central feature of the programme and the specific course details are elaborated. Future developments to the CAE programme are explored for the education of students ad the needs of modern engineering in the next decade
