The present authors reply to a comment by Attallah and Thiagarajan (IEEE Signal Process. Lett., vol.14, no.4, April 2006) on the original paper by Gao and Nallanathan (IEEE Signal Process. Lett., vol.13, no.2, p.73-6, Feb. 2006).
