Abstract
SPICE models fail to predict, with acceptable accuracy, the harmonic distortion in certain types of high-performance continuous-time filters. An alternative model for distortion prediction is proposed which is based on a more appropriate physical description of the underlying CMOS transistor. With this model, good agreement is obtained between measured and predicted distortion.
