  • Abstract
    To understand popularity of social education cloud services, this study investigated 420 citizens through survey questionnaires in Beijing. Survey results showed that: 1. The majority of respondents have used cloud services, but compared to other public applications, cloud services is not popular in public education fields; 2. Most respondents have learning demands, and people with the higher educational background have more learning requirements; 3. Learning contents is focused on professional knowledge and related school education knowledge, multimedia contents are more popular than text info only. The study suggested that public culture educational institutions should develop and strengthen the social education cloud services, to extend the influence and spread of education sources from museums, galleries and other social educational institutions.
