Abstract :
This paper presents a theoretically sound solution for intention recognition in smart home environment. The proposed solution for elderly intention recognition is based on activity recognition and context recognition. Accelerator-based activity classification and RSSI based location estimation technique have been suggested. The recognized situation sequence is then matched with most possible intentions modeled in Markov chains. Our preliminary experiment suggests this algorithm is viable.
