Abstract :
The environmental protection equipment specialty is a newly opened undergraduate Specialty. A so-called CIE-CDIO cultivation mode for the new specialty which embodies the idea of creation, innovation and entrepreneurship (CIE) into the CDIO education pattern was advanced in this paper. The core undergraduate courses system had been mapped out, the relationship between the acknowledge outlines in teaching and various phases of CIE-CDIO cultivating mode had also been developed. The whole teaching process which was comprised of bringing forward the idea of project, creative design, manufacture, examination, graduate design and entrepreneurship plan was implemented. The practice showed that the awareness of students´ creation, innovation and entrepreneurship had been inspired and the innovation capability of engineering practice had been improved. The goal of fully mobilizing student´s learning initiative and developing his practical ability by CDIO-based teaching theory was reached.
