Abstract
Inaccuracies of the Jiles-Atherton model in the region of weak magnetization may be to a large degree removed by introducing a variable pinning parameter. Applying the simple approximate dependence of this parameter on the amplitude of magnetization considerably improves the accuracy of calculations. Additionally, it simplifies the basic formula in this model.
