Abstract :
We have proposed a Lymph-node detection system using a high Tc SQUID gradiometer and ultra-small particles. A rat was injected with a mixture of water diluted superparamagnetic particles. The lymph nodes containing particles were then extracted from the rat. The lymph node samples were measured by a SQUID gradiometer system. We have successfully measured the signal from the lymph node.
