  • Abstract
    A procedure for full-wave analysis of multiconductor coupled lines in MICs by the method of lines has been proposed. Propagation constant, attenuation constant, characteristic impedances of each eigenmode and the 2N-port S-parameters are calculated. Considering dispersion and loss, this approach is particularly suitable for application at higher microwave frequencies. Computed results for some MIC elements containing multiconductor coupled lines are compared with measurements and good agreement is shown.
