Abstract :
The current expansion of a circular polarised electrodynamically coupled patch in small rooftop basis functions gives excellent results but leads to numerical problems in the case of array computation. To increase efficiency the currents of each element in the array are approximated by the current distribution of a single isolated patch which leads to a tremendous decrease in computation time and shows good agreement with an exact calculation
