2005 Outstanding Paper Award

The recipients of the 2005 Outstanding Paper Award of the IEEE Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society are Thanassis Misaridis and Jorgen Arendt Jensen for their three-part paper ("Use of Modulated Excitation Signals in Medical Ultrasound. Part I: Basic Concepts and Expected Benefits"; "Use of Modulated Excitation Signals in Medical Ultrasound. Part II: Design and Performance for Medical Imaging Applications"; and "Use of Modulated Excitation Signals in Medical Ultrasound. Part III: High Frame Rate Imaging"), which appeared in the February 2005 issue (no. 2) on pages 177-191, 192-207, and 208-219, respectively.
