Abstract :
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method is applied to predict reflection coefficients for edge slots penetrating the adjacent broadsides of thick nailed rectangular X-band waveguides. Measured and calculated values S11 are compared to experiment for waveguides terminated by shorted loads
