Abstract :
We present in this paper a post-processor for the reduction of color bleeding in 4:1:1 digital video decompressed sequences. It is an extension to the specific case of 4:1:1 video format of our previous work on color image enhancement. The proposed algorithm is nonlinear and adaptive depending on the local characteristics of the video material. First, the different parts of the algorithm are described in detail: this include the detection, then the removal of color bleeding in coded video. Finally experimental results are shown, that exhibit the improvement of color fidelity of the post-processed images.
