Abstract :
We present a wavelength selective device that is based on three coupled antiresonant waveguides with equal core thicknesses. A periodic wavelength selection is achieved through the use of thick Fabry-Perot interference cladding layers. The device, which we will call "ARROW comb-de/multiplexer", selects from a discrete equally-spaced wavelength spectrum every other wavelength. The functionality of the ARROW comb de/multiplexer is similar to that of a Mach-Zehnder multi/demultiplexer.<>
